~Poem for the best Father
Those hardships that you’d faced,
The endeavor that you’d made,
Despite that you carried on the face,
A diligent smile which did not fade,
However much you got engaged,
But you never forgot to pray,
You might at times express your rage,
But I know there’s a cloud of affection in that cage,
I know you talk less,
But the words you speak are of great depth,
Though I never expressed much of it,
I would want to say this,
Papa, Unlike the ordinary men,
You are the one out of thousands,
An honest, wise policeman
Who takes great care of his children,
Who provides shoulders to carry on,
Therefore we know we ain’t alone,
Your shadow stands behind us,
I live in the shadow of your love…
